Dusty Smith
Tupelo
Dusty Smith has worked for Carpenter for over six years. During that time, he has become a valuable member of the maintenance team – someone that all of his coworkers depend upon in some way. He performs detailed and neat installations of all electrical projects and exceeds all standards. His work to upgrade the electronics on the chop line, pouring line, looper and fiber line has been instrumental in the Tupelo plant’s continuous improvement. Whether it’s taking on extra shifts, staying late, or coming into work on off-hours to keep the plant running, Dusty has always shown great pride in his work and a commitment to continuous improvement. We are very grateful to have him on our team.

Rudy Negron
Fogelsville
Rudy Negron is one of the longest-standing Fogelsville employees and a jack of all trades. He started his Carpenter career in production in our Bedding Department and then worked as a Fiber Manager for 10+ years. Today, he manages our Carpet Cushion Department. Not only does Rudy care about and take pride in his work, but also for his team. Thank you, Rudy, for your dedication to Carpenter over the years.

John Shirey
Corporate
Very often there are heroes hidden away, processing a mountain of work behind the scenes – rarely recognized or thanked for all they do. John has been a Carpenter employee for 20 years, working steadfastly to maintain the Kronos time and attendance system. Without an accurate time and attendance system, employees would not be paid correctly, so John’s function is essential. John is quick to identify, troubleshoot and correct errors, and he is always willing to help support the HR Managers at each division. Thank you, John!
